WHAT WE’VE SEEN IN THE PAST

1. Luncheon after church: invite your church to learn more about your trip and RTRA as you raise support. A Pasta Bar or Taco Bar is inexpensive and easy to set up for lots of people.

2. Yard sale: rally friends and family to bring over their items for you to coordinate and sale. You can also add lemonade and treats for sale.

3. Car wash: coordinate with a gas station or the parking lot at your church and make signs. Ask friends for extra buckets, towels, scrub brushes, hoses, soap etc.

4. Letters/Emails: speak from the heart and write individually to friends and family about why you would like them to join you in this effort. Share any personal connection you have with RTRA. We discourage mass emails that are sent to multiple recipients at the same time, because they are less likely to respond.

5. Social Media/Text Sale: have an artsy or handy skill you can promote and sell? Custom jewelry, home repair, walking dogs, babysitting etc. Post and text about how you are fundraising for your trip and will do ____ for a donation to your trip.
