a note on Other Travel:
Please keep in mind that RTRA is not a travel company. We coordinate the flights and offer to coordinate an excursion for the team, but we do not have staffing to coordinate special travel requests or multiple excursions. If you will be traveling to other countries before or after the RTRA trip, you are welcome to coordinate your travel dates with our travel dates. We will only be booking flights for team members who want the set dates we offer. With team members traveling from multiple US states, we always do our best to coordinate meeting up on one of the layovers so that the majority of the team arrives at Entebbe Airport on the same flight or within the same day.
The most critical goal is to buy the tickets in early spring to lock in good fares!
When you sign the application form, you are indicating that you have decided to participate in the mission trip and plan to obtain the funds necessary to do so. All money received will be submitted to RTRA and will be administered as a personal “support account” that goes toward the mission trip and all monies are nonrefundable. This account will be established with the submission of your submitted application and first payment.
In the event that funds raised exceed project costs, excess funds may be used to cover other project costs. In the event that you do not participate in the mission trip, any charges incurred for you (airline cancellation fees, deposits, etc.) will be deducted from your account, and you will be responsible for any deficit. You agree to pay any deficit within (60) days following notice of the amount of such deficit. Gifts become the sole property of RTRA to be designated towards ongoing projects. A gift to RTRA is a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes to the extent permitted by law. Tax deductible gifts cannot be refunded. In the event you do not participate in the mission trip, gifts to RTRA will go to support other project costs.
